If rushing -> loosing the Time

Lasă un comentariu

Didn’t happen to you too, every time when rushing it seams that the time if not enough for you, and you need to rush more…
It’s like a perpetuum-mobile situation: you seam that you don’t have the time you need, so you need to rush, but rushing is giving you the sensation that there is no time.
The rush is influencing the Time, and not vice-versa.

The time is a perception, of your mind, of your soul, with your entire body. And how do we perceive the time? By the impression left on us, by its markings – memories of the mind, jolts of the soul.

When doing something in a rush mode does not mean that we will gain some time – free time maybe-, but means that we are close to loosing it.
We don’t let the eye to embrace the passing, the surroundings, to make memories, to enjoy the life, we are changing from one thing to another because we are rushing, and everything is foggy.

When we rush, when we’re running around for various activities, for hoarding of matter or of information, when we crowd with many and more, we no longer retain their impression in our memory, and for us – even if the time is not effectively lost it became forgotten, a wasted time because it did not leave its mark in our mind.

The Time is not short, only it is no longer perceived.

If you have the impression that you don’t have time, then slow down, and taste the moments, don’t let them slip in faster mode with no impression left on you.
Take them easy and slow down, let the time pass as slow as it can, don’t rush it, because you’ll loose it.

Mobiles are slowing the world

Sad-handi –  or  –  Mobiles are slowing the world

The mobiles are slowing the world, the momentum

The mobile-absorbed people needs a bit more time to react to the environment, and sometimes they are stopping, forgetting to walk, blocking the way. Did you encounter in your ways that somebody dropped-dead (figurative speaking) in front of you, and you have to avoid them, as they are lost for the world? Did you encounter people rubbing their phones at the stop-light and everyone is starting slowly at the green light? Did you encounter – when waiting in the emergency room, that the doctors and assistants are taking patients at a slower pace, and between are entertaining by rubbing the respective phone?

Of course you did!, and more often every day.

So sad are these people, so not filled with joy.

So, let’s call them: handi (from handi-capatos).

How do you name a person who has narrow viewing field, or cannot use a hand – or both, or cannot see what is in front of them? Handi?

But these people want to be that, they are not forced by circumstances.

I was wondering, watching the people in the subway or bus, most of them rubbing the phones… what will rub all the day long, if the mobiles will not be anymore?

I’ve got an answer from a colleague of mine: they will rub the kitty “freaca pisoiul” – but there will be a problem, will everyone hold a kitty on their hand and will rub it all the day long? … that cannot be done, because the kitty will not stay…

…sad people

Shall we name them sad-handi.

Searching for other ways to entertain means that they are generally sad, means that they are not pleased with their life, with their surroundings, they are skipping the present time, are not embracing the moment. Sometime in the future they will wake up, and will find that years, decades passed, and they didn’t taste the life, they will not know where the hours went away, they will not remember anything. But it’ll be too late to change anything.

Even if they do not perceive the sadness of their live, their subconscious will know that they always need something else to find the trill, the joy, to fill the sadness of their life.

It’s not only an addiction; it’s a tacit recognition of a failure.

It was an article: „Tehnologia ne schimba radical memoria” –  on descopera.ro

„Since ancient times, people have looked with fear and skepticism the effect that new technologies have on memory. In one of the famous dialogues of Plato’s Phaedrus, Socrates tells how the Egyptian god Theuth, local mythology considered the inventor of the alphabet, tried to persuade the king of Egypt, Thamus, to spread the art of writing among the Egyptians. Arguing in favor of this new technology, Theuth claims that „science will make the Egyptians wiser and with young mind, forgetfulness cure was found there, but also of ignorance”. King Thamus challenged the benefits Theuth claimed: „This letter brings forgetfulness in the souls of those who it will learn sloth them young mind, putting their faith in writing, people will remember from the outside, using some foreign icons, and not from within by its own cause. The cure that you found did not harden their young minds, but bringing remember”.

However, Socrates was right regarding at least one of the effects the technology of writing has had on memory: as it became possible to store information on external environment, people have ceased to memorize huge amounts of information.

In ancient times, the epics were transmitted only orally, and boast a brilliant mind unmatched memory. Themistocles, the famous Greek politician and general, have a reputation for being learned every name and face of the 20,000 citizens of Athens.”(…)

I saw in the subway, or bus, or anywhere, the people drowned in the mobile are not looking at other people …  losing the momentum

does they see that might be somebody (old) needing the chair? – no! – nobody else exists outside their limited world

does they catch the eye of a boy or a girl, potentially a relation in the future? no! – they are lost in the lies of the virtual realm

does they react at the proximal situation (I am referring to the anticipation)?, no! – they cannot appreciate a potentially danger, they are losing the power of anticipation.

Some while ago an adapted person was measured as how they react to the changing of the environment. They will lose the power to adapt to the real life, they will lose the ability to perform in real life. And who’s to blame for?

Let’s talk about Alzheimer too, the mind disease, the mind cannot remember, – in the current conditions the mind is not learned to remember, only to jump, only to get lost….

Do you see the signs of Alzheimer to kids, maybe you are placing these signs to the fact that they cannot concentrate or are too distracted. Are they?

Will be Alzheimer the disease of the old only? no! it will be a disease of the youngers too.

Seeing people rubbing the phone, with their heads bend down – the snowdrop position, all day, many hours, are they thinking that this will not affect the position of their spine? Somebody might say that the human body can adapt, that it is no much influence this position held for a long period of time every day. Probably, and also probably will adapt the position of the body to permit a much easier bending of the head – maybe a humpback?

And how it is with their eyes? Are you seeing people with fixed glance, more often, or most of the time? Are you looking at them and they seams to not blink? They are subjecting themselves with screens – small are larger, and the impulse for their eyes is only from electronic changing of the images on the screens. They are not blinking naturally anymore, and their eyes are tough to adapt to the changing of the distance. Their eyes will succumb before their time.

Do you think that we have a limit of common sense in using these mobiles?

Do you think that mobiles are a good thing – with no restrictions? – Then, think again.

Alan Rickman – through my eyes

Who doesn’t know The Voice?
Who didn’t see Harry Potter?   :)  Is there anybody who didn’t?
Who does not remember one of the prominent characters: the Potions Master – Severus Snape, played by Alan Rickman. And one of the cathartic moments which is going around the word:  Always.
Yes, Mr. Alan Rickman will Always remain in the hearts of those who knew him, and in the hearts of those who didn’t known him.
This is a book about how I am seeing Alan Rickman, as one of those who didn’t known him, but tried to make acquaintance with his life after 2 years from his passing.
This is a feather-light touch of his life.
This book is work-in-progress, and is structured like a puzzle, putting pieces together, from interviews, from articles, from anything at the hand length. If there are any pieces of the puzzle which didn’t match, or are misplaced, or for missing parts, drop me a line, and we shall work on these together.
(this link will be auto updated with all the progress of this book)

Through my eyes: Ephemerid into eternity
Wondering, why aren’t they making film after stage representations, they could place cameras on any corners, or any position not to be seen or to disturb the play, and to take the stage on film, and also they would know what to focus on, details which might be missed by the public, and from so many representations they could make a movie, and thus transforming the ephemerid into eternity.
They have live representations with public responses, and they can put together a film, to be released after the play runs off. Thus the people who saw the play on stage might want the play on tape (aka DVD) too, or the people who didn’t have the chance to see it, might have the opportunity to see it after all.
They could also get a more accurate feedback of the value of their actors, based on the request for the DVD on command they would have. The “they” aka Broadway, aka RST, aka any good, big theater.
And also could be a good flow of funds for a play which ran off, but for which the money will keep coming from the DVD version. (this was from a proposal of mine made to Broadway, formed from my biggest regret that I missed all the chances to see Alan Rickman on stage, and the Seminar filmed by amateurs left me a taste of wanting more, something more professional).
